ON 1 Remove the rear I/O panel and install the I/O card on

the chassis.

See “Installing the I/O Card for the ReadiManager

IAM” on page 2-15.

2 Remove the ReadiManager IAM front panel.

See “Removing the Blank Panel from the MGC+ Unit”

on page 2-14.

3 Install the ReadiManager IAM.

See “Inserting the ReadiManager IAM into the MGC+

Unit” on page 2-16.

The ReadiManager IAM automatically starts/boots

when inserted into its slot on the backplane.

Note: If you did not follow this procedure and installed the

ReadiManager IAM prior to installing the I/O card for the

ReadiManager IAM, then:

4 Turn the ReadiManager IAM OFF, by pushing the

SHUT Down button.

5 Turn the ReadiManager IAM ON, by pushing the

SHUT Down button again.
